anyone ever find someone who you were BEST BEST friends with... say either in high school, elementary school or middle school??
did you ever go so far as to get together with that person?!

Two of my very best friends from HS found me on there. We had lost touch b/c everyone went away to school, but a few weeks ago we got together for lunch. It was really good to see them again, and if they didn't find me on there, I wouldn't have really thought about reconnecting with them.

I actually reconnected with my very first best friend. I mean we were together almost everyday from the time we were a week old until about 10yrs old. Our parents were best friends and we were born a week apart. We wore the same outfits and even went to school together.
I havent actually seen her in about 17yrs (DAMN thats a long time) but we'll chat every now and then on FB just to catch up and keep each other updated on whats going on. But never went as far as wanting to get together. I wouldnt say no though if it came up. It just hasnt at this time.

thats EXACTLY how i feel about this one friend that found me!!
we were REALLLLYYYYY good friends in 8th grade and she found me yesterday and i was really excited to see her.... she wants to get together which i am TOTALLY down for... i was just wondering if any of you ladies have done this and how it was for you!

There are only one or two of those friends that I would really consider meeting up with. Don't know why, but I guess I just feel like so much time has passed, that we're completely different people and it will be awkward. There is one girl that I would LOVE to see who I haven't seen in about 15 years... but she lives out of state so who knows if/when that will happen.

yes- my best friend from high school found me on there- she lives in jersey but we now meet every 2 months or so and talk everyday.
we lost contact for about 10 years, but when we saw each other, it was like we had never lost a minute- its weird how that is with some people
