My cousin got me the Better Homes and Gardens' Bridal Cookbook for my 30th bday - I had just gotten engaged a few months before that. We have been using it A LOT since we got married and there are soooo many good recipes in it! I made the orange halibut a few days ago (made it the first time about a month ago) and it's awesome. I used tilapia I think, maybe mahi-mahi, not sure, but it'll work on any white fish. Or chicken for that matter! And tonight I made a honey-glazed chicken stir fry over brown rice. SO good and super easy. I had all the ingredients at home already (frozen veggies - large bag, 2 chicken breast halves that I pounded to stretch a bit, honey, soy sauce, OJ, vinegar, cornstarch - that is IT). If you see it at the bookstore BUY IT! The recipes are simple (I'm guessing because it's going under the impression that getting married is the first time women will really COOK, since that's how it used to be) and they are really good!

I LOVE that cookbook!
I feel like anything I make from it turns out good. I am going to make my first dessert from it this weekend I think - we are going over to a friend's house. If the dinners are this good, dessert should be great!
