costa rica- xpost

where have you gone, what cities do you recommend to stay, what are fun things to do?
this will be our first post=honeymoon trip!

Hi! We went to Costa Rica for the second part of our honeymoon. I would highly recommend the Guanacaste area. It is awesome!! It depends what kind of vacation you want, as far as hotels go. We did an all-inclusive (Paradisus Playa Conchal) and although it was really nice, it just was not for us. We didn't love the food, which is huge for us. However soooo many people we know (including close family friends who got married there, SIL was in the bridal party) LOVED it, and it's totally their type of thing.

If we were ever to go back to Costa Rica we would go back to the same area, but we would stay at the Four Seasons Papagayo for sure. Just recently friends of our family had their destination wedding there and the resort is just breathtaking!!

Some activities we did were horseback riding on the beach, as well as jet skiing. We also did a sunset boat tour. A lot of people do the rainforest/zipline tour, but I am terrified of huge bugs and was not driving 2 hours into the freaking jungle and walking through it!! NO WAY!! To each his own lol. There were also ATV rentals on the beach, which looked really fun. Good luck with your decision!!
