get a t-shirt for him, or really any type of clothes will work. I got a set of cotton PJ's and he got a new t-shirt for our 2nd anniversary gift.

haha love the undies idea, but you can get curtains for the new flat, a fabric covered piece of furniture, table linnens, bedding, or in the modern interpretation of your anniversary - complete your china/place settings. HTH
