Craft Corner - decorated mini dresser

I made this to use in the LR at the wedding and SonicStef suggested posting it here as a craft. It really was easy. It started outas an Ikea (I think) small drawer set - its 15.5 W x 8 D x 11 H. I stained it using a scrap of cotton towel and let it dry and repeated. then I used a stencil to cover most of it. To fill in th espots I just covered some of the stencil and used it. After the stencil dried I polyurethained it, let it dry and polyurethained (sp?) it again.

It looks a bit smudged, but its really not. After the wedding I think I wikk use on my desk for odds and ends.

I am going to use it in the Ladies room at the wedding instead of the emergency basket.
