EverlovingEv suggested I pick the brains of the newlyweds on this one!!....
I'm going to be booking a dj next week and I'd like to make some appointments today. I'm looking for someone in the average price range, you don't have to post prices just a recommendation will do and if they are not an LIW vendor, a phone #.
Thanks ladies!!

Re: CRASH- REPOST FROM 08 - RECOMMEND YOUR DJ!!
I used Dr. Dance (DDE) he's a LIW vendor here and I thought he was amazing. We saw 5 DJ's and when we met with Ken, we knew we had found our DJ. I couldn't believe how affordable he was. We used a lot of his services. We used their DJ, MC, Jazz Trio, vocalist, sax, and drummer. FM me if you want price details.

I definately would recommend High Energy Entertainment. They are a vendor on here. I used them for my engagement party and my wedding and they were awesome at both. Ralph the owner is so nice and played every single song that my husband and I wanted. The dance floor was packed all night long!

I didn't use them for our wedding (we used a company from Bklyn), but my friend used Long Island Sound and it was one of the best weddings I'd ever been to! Music was great & everyone was dancing all night long..

I used Frank FM entertainment and he was excellent. I also did zap photos- pics of guest at CH and RH and it was the best spent money.

Bravura hands down! what was great about them is that they are a dj with a la carte live music add ons. we got a percussionist and vocalist/pianist. Money well spent!

I used In The Mix--they were fabulous...dance floor was crowded and everyone raved about them. We have friends that use them for EVERYTHING.
