Crazy Question

So my whole hallway was finally painted except for the bathroom door, this is because we were working on our master bathroom so if we had taken down the door we would have had no bathroom with a door on it. My father laughed at us and said, 'its just you two, what's the difference?' He has been making fun of us for it ever since.

Which leads to my question:

Do you go to the bathroom in front of DH?

i don't even shut the door when im peeing!

but the other, i only did it once, bc i really had to, and he was in the shower! but i was a tiny bit uncomfortable!

door is usually open for both

As far as DH knows I dont do #2 EVERRR!

Hard to keep up!

But I will go pee pee when hes around.. I dont leave the door open though.

Yeah we won't go in front of each other at all, 1 or 2. Even on our honeymoon, we would ask each other if the other one had to go before we would get in the shower, although at our second hotel the toilet had a separate door so that made things easy.

I don't know why, especially since my stomach issues we have no problem farting in front of each other. But for some reason that mystery remains private.

Anyone who won't, do you think that will change as you are married longer and longer?

Same here! Dh will do #2 in front of me and I think its so gross!

This is a little effed up, but growing up in my house we had only one bathroom, and 4 people living in the house...therefore, we had absolutely no sense of boundaries. Any of us. Everyone would freely walk in and out regardless of who was in the shower, on the toilet, doing whatever. When DH and I were dating and engaged, and I had to use the bathroom if we were at home, I actually had to make a conscious effort to close the door, because normally I just don't LOL.

So now that'were married, there are still no boundaries. It's a free for all. It is what it is, doesn't bother either of us...everyone goes

This is a really funny topic.. In 5 years we only peepeed in front of each other once and it was at a Madonna concert but just the other day I was folding laundry in the bathroom
and DH came in and started to peepee and I just said soo this IS what married life is huh!!

We have no issues with that, we can have conversations with one another in the bathroom. Although, once its time to get cleaned up we part ways, there are things that we should just never see of each other!

yeah I have a door closing problem. Meaning I never close it!!!!

I'm gross and have def done number 2 around him. He can't be in the immediate bathroom with me. But sometimes he's so excited to tell me a story or something like that and he stands out in the hallway (where I make him stay a safe distance from my pooping. I run the faucet and the fan lol) and talks excitedly from there. It's pretty cute. We are not bashful and are naked a lot etc. Hahaha

I def made DH this way though...When we first got together he was so shy being naked and couldn't believe that I walked around half naked as often as I do. What, I have lotion that takes like 10-12 minutes to absorb!! I can't put clothes on!!

Same thing in my home growing up. Except it was 5 people and one bathroom. There would be someone taking a shower and someone using the bathroom. My husband thought this was VERY odd when he started dating me. Of course I never thought this was weird at all. When we started living together we only ever had one bathroom so it was something that we had started to do. But it had only started with 'I have to pee'. Now, it's just a free for all.

Ditto!!!

#1 sometimes...no #2 - the only time I have gone in front of DH or with him in the bathroom was when I had come back from getting a cat scan of my tummy & the barium they gave me plus the drink I had to drink made me have such diarrahea, that he would come into the bathroom to check on me to make sure I was ok. other than that #2 we try to keep behind closed doors if posible.

On a side note DH is telling me how he hears all these crazy stories on the radio of men that say they dont know their wives poop b/c they've never seen or heard them do it. I dont know how THAT is possible...but maybe these woman have very good stomach control...lol
