If you took some of your dh's traits/characteristics and some of yours, what would your ideal son or daughter look like or be like??

Very smart, athletic, tall (tall for a son, my height--5'3' for a daughter--I like being kind of small for a woman), slim, with brownish red hair and blue eyes, my pale skin because I love being fair...Driven and ambitious, loving and kind...

DH thick hair, height, metabolism, and ability to be witty and think outside the box

My book smarts, eyes (DH wants them) and 'cuteness'

my dh dark hair and blue eyes and my fair skin his math ability and my creativity. this goes for both boys or girls and his ice hockey skills because regardless if there a boy or girl my dh will have them on the ice as soon as they can walk.

His blue eyes (his are more green, mine are more gray) his blonde hair. A mixture of our noses (his too pointy, mine is too round). My metabolism...at least before the 18 year mark.

His determination and work ethic, my creativity, sensitivity and interest in the arts. His musical ability, my math skills...

Ok..I'll share too!!

My child is def going to have dark hair and brown/hazel eyes because that's what we both have.

Traits from dh...thick straight hair, his waist up..he has a small waist..nice arms..etc..and his determination and ambition..

From me - my laidbackness and butt down..only because dh has kind of a big booty...and my tallness..dh is kind of short for a guy..

DH's nice olive skin. Dark hair and eyes- we both have. His creativity, my drive. If it's a girl, my curves.

Dh's blue eyes, height, and metabolism, his pale but even skin ( mine is pink-er), his wavy hair.


My nose, (especially for a girl), my left-handeness, & immune system (rarely sick, no allergies, unlike DH)

My thick hair and my light skin tone, slightly Hispanic coloring. Definitely my grey streak in my hair.
His Asian facial features (Eyes, cheeks) and His smile.

His academic skills (Brainy)
OUR wit and sense of place in the world.


Our Son
His hair (sans loss of it), His lighter skin tone typical Asian coloring

hmmm, that's one of those things--as an adult you can appreciate the uniqueness, but it difficult as a child.
Well, maybe your child will have the different eyes & the strenght & wisdom to appreciate it at a young age.

Im not sure... she is such a combination of the two of us. In that pic everyone says she looks like my twin.

Well being that we are having a son, I would like for him to have DH's skin tone, my dirty blond hair, my blue eyes, DH's nose. I would love for him to have my sense of adventure, but DH outgoing personality

I've only really ever thought about what I'd want in daughters so that's what I'll do.

I would like one daughter who has FH's coloring (dark hair, gorgeous green eyes) and one with mine (red hair, hazel eyes). That's because I like both of our colorings.

I'd like them to have our smarts, my musical ability, DH's behavior patterns and temper, DH's build, my eyesight and teeth, and be right in between our heights (which would put them at about 5'6').

Oh, but the person who said her kids would all have dark hair and hazel eyes, that's not necessarily the case. My parents are both dark haired and I'm a redhead, so there's always a chance they could surprise you!

His legs (long, slim, shapely; unlike my thick short ones )

My eyes (good vision; his is the pits)

My hair thickness

My lungs (he smokes and had asthma as a child) ugh.

His hair color (kind of honey brown)

His height (he has height, I'm only 5'3')

And Oh God please dear GOd let them NOT have my skin that burns and freckles. Let them please not have to hide from the sun!

i think that our kids will have dh hair which is thick and blonde (i have thin and blond hair),
i love dh's eyes...so awesome...nice lashes, but he has blue eyes and i have green, wo i think we'll have blue eyed kids.
our kids will be tall probably b/c we both are tall and come from tall families.
his body and mine are similar...slim and lanky.
his teeth (perfect, straight, no cavities, whereas mine are crooked and have gaps)
his metabolism and immune systerm (i'm ms. pneumonia!)
my work ethic
my empathy
his determination and fighting abilities

it's funny, dh and i kind of look alike and are more similar than different.
