leave it to me. actually i'm asking on behalf of bear.

you know how you have registry completion programs? suppose i put something on my registry NOW... and then buy it using the completion discount....

aside from being unclassy, can you do this?

We TOTALLY did that! I bought a bunch of things from Bed Bath & Beyond and Bloomingdales about a month after the wedding...I'm even considering opening a registry at Crate & Barrel right now...

don't laugh but we did that. It wasn't available when we were making our registry, and I really really wanted it. So DH asked the woman on the sly and she did it. She said people do it all the time.

Crate and barrel has a secret thing that right before you use your 10% you can go around the store and add more things. DH and I had an awesome time doing that!
