I was using then as directed on the box, twice a day for 30 minutes. yesterday my teeth were KILLING ME! Im taking a break now but have any of you ladies tried them and if so, does the pain subside after a while? I can tell theyre working but I dont know if the pain is worth it!

Wait 30 minutes??!!! The box I had you could only leave them on for 5 minutes so that your teeth wouldnt get sensitive. I had discomfort but not pain.

Yeah Im using the first ones that came out. I think the newer ones are less time. Maybe I shoulda gone with those instead of my cheap-a$$ trying to save money

Do you brush with Sensodyne? It helps alot. Before I started using white strips the dentist told me to use that toothpast for 2 weeks prior

I had sensitivity when I used them. I found that if I made sure none of the plastic was on my gums I could still use them

Re: Crest Whitestrips=OUCH
i hate them & will never use them again...and EVERY person that i personally know that has used them has always had major sensitivity issues. My dentist told me that anything that makes your teeth that sensitive is not good as it's wearing&breaking through the enamel.
instead i bought Rembrandt non-abrasive. it's a mouthpiece and a gel so when i used it i would just put it on while i was getting ready in the morning. i saw awesome results and it never bothered my teeth. sorry ur teeth are hurting! whatever u do don't eat any icecream! it KILLS!

Yes I always have tooth sensitivity..you'll probably have it until you finish them (thats usually how it is for me) They work though!!!! They also sell ones made for people with sensitive teeth...I find these are much better and don't cause so much discomfort

Re: Crest Whitestrips=OUCH
I used them last February (the 30 min twice a day crest strips) and never had any sensitivity issues with it. I wonder what that's about. Maybe I just have thick teeth. lol. (if such a thing were possible).
Due to the great results i had last year, I used them again before the wedding 2 months ago, but only did it once a day, rather than twice as directed (just because i was lazy, I guess. lol). No problems there either.

Yeah - I had major sensitivity with them. I stopped using them and also stopped using whitening toothpaste. Instead I swish with Listerine whitening rinse twice a day. Much more gentle on your teeth.

Re: Crest Whitestrips=OUCH
yeah, it wasnt just 'sensitive' it was downright painful, i was even afraid to have cold air hit them. i started using them only once a day and it felt MUCH better that way and they def. worked.
