Cuisinart wine fridge

Did any of you get the 11 bottle or 12 bottle wine fridge?

We had the 11 bottle one and then it wouldnt go below 89 degres and had water on the bottom so we had to take it back to bloomies. We replaced it with the 12 bottle one. This was 13 days ago. Last night DH opens it and there is water all on the bottom. it was at the correct temperature- 60 degrees, but all the wine was super cold- colder than if we put it in our regualr fridge. So all of our expensive red wine is probably ruined. Has this happened to anyone else? I called cuisinart and the woman said to take it back- that there should never be water on teh bottom.

I thought I was doing something wrong, but teh woman went through everything with me that could cause it, and said i was doing everything right adn that there was a malfunction with the fridge. But come on- two wine fridges in a row?? This is just soooo annoying!

We have a wine fridge from Haier and we've been really pleased with it. It can hold 12 bottles and it stays at a consistent (appropriate) temperature. I think DH got it at Circuit City.

we have a wine fridge from Fortunoff, only holds 6 bottles (at the time we thought that would be plenty! but it's worked great -- we've had it a year and a half)

i'll go see what brand it is --- you shouldnt keep having those problems

thanks ladies. Both the woman at cuisinart and the woman at Bloomies told me they had never heard of this happening before with the ones we have had. I was just curious if anyone else has the Cuisinart one and has had this problem or if we are just having back luck....

check on amazon.com -- they always have tons of really detailed reviews and you can see how many other people had the problem you speak of. if you do decide to get a different brand, it seems the Haier one is pretty good.

That's really odd. We have tons of other Cuisinart products that are amazing. I guess the wine fridges just aren't on the same level.

We have a lot of great Cuisinart products too, but I guess the wine fridge isnt one of them
