How much did you censor yourself if you did a review?
Like, did you hold back saying something because you were afraid of repercussions, or were you truthful and honest in stating your feelings, no matter what?
Hypothetically speaking of course.
You don't need to get in to specifics obviously...I'm just wondering. I probably won't finish my review for a few months now, at least until I come to a bit inner peace about some things. But you all know how I am LOL, and I know sometimes I'm a bit *too* honest so just curious if anyone else felt the need to tone it down a notch.

Re: Curious about something...
I was happy with everyone for the most part but I would have been 100% truthful if I was upset about something.

Totally...what I would theoretically say isn't bashing at all. In fact, I'M the one that feels bad and awful about it, which shouldn't be the case at all, so I guess now I'm just debating like Gina if I should even do one at all...but I see myself as sort of a warped champion for those who might not speak up for themselves so the other part of me thinks that I owe it to myself and others to post a truthful and honest review.
Sigh.

giving them a certain grade would just do the trick. Most girls rate things A A+ A+++++ ...soo giving them a D or and F, they would get the hint that you didn't have a pleasant experience. And i think that if you tell it how it is, and why you were un happy with this vendor it would be helpful.
I was totally honest about my engagement shoot pictures vendor, and they are on this site, yes she took great pictures, but she didn't follow through w/ her pictures, so i told in my review what happen

You can post how you feel without getting the thread booted. Like saying what made you happy about the vendor and then post what you thought could have been better. I don't know. If you feel bad posting it, then don't.

I have only 3 vendors that I was happy with. The others really effed up and I'm still upset about it. So I feel like I really cant write a review.

i did not like one vendor but i did not write a review yet. i thought if i wrote bad things about this vendor they would pull the post. so i have not decided if i am going to do a review.

I totally agree that this is the way to go. I was lucky in that I was happy with all of my vendors except for a little problem with the limo driver which I posted in my review.

Dittoooo... Yeah after 6 months of my wedding I still cannot convince myself to do one either.. Plus one vendor was not all I expected! I was surprise to see the turnaround.. But Thankfully everything came out spectacular and I had a BLAST!

Re: Curious about something...
I didnt write a review and probably wont bc I am lazy.. but I was unhappy with one vendor. Some already know bc i b*tched about it. If I was to do a review I would give them the review they deserved whether it was good or not. However I think the rule of thumb on here is to say what they did that you didnt like and why you didnt like them etc and give facts, dont just say 'they s*ck never use them!'..

This is why I haven't written one also, my experience was mixed. Also, I work with various vendors on a regular basis and if I rip them to shreds it's going to change the relationship.

Re: Curious about something...
I was truthful about my dislikes. I think the review is the one place you can be honest, as long as you have good reasons to back up your complaints and your not brutal about it.

Re: Curious about something...
I was truly honest. But none of my vendors were LIW vendors, so I wasn't afraid of anything.
