Custom framing?

Custom framing?

Hey ladies...I'm up too early. Hello Tara, it's vacation, you can sleep!

Anyway, for our wedding we were given an authenticated Derek Jeter autographed photo. I had a thought of framing that with our Derek Jeter table number, then DH thought of adding the tickets to the game on our wedding day (that we weren't able to go to - and it was a day of baseball history- ARod's 300th HR!). I might want to add our wedding invitation as well, and maybe a pic of us with our wedding cake (since it has the Yankees bride & groom topper on it ).

So....I've heard of custom framing before. Is this a job for custom framing or is that just for pictures of an odd size? Is this something a professional can put together?

Or is this something for a shadow box? I'm so new to this, I'd love your suggestions!

Thanks!

Tara,
Go to your local Michael's Arts and Crafts. They can definetly help you out with this. They do Custom Framing. Custom Framing is basically anything special that needs to be framed. Not necessarily a shadow box. But, if you wanted a shadow box they could do that. Two of my friends work for Michael's. One is a manager and one works for custom framing and I have heard and seen alot of wonderful framing.

Thanks Charlotte! I'm thinking I might buy myself a shadow box and try it myself- and if I'm too clueless I'll go to the pros!

Tara,
Your Welcome. You can also purchase the shadow box from Michael's and do it at home. They could help you find what you are looking for.
