Day After pictures

Has anyone taken them?

Who did you use?

As many of you know, I was not too happy with my pics. They were ok, but nothing really with a WOW factor. I finally convinced DH to take Day After pics sometime in the fall but here is my question.

Since we had an indoor wedding should I look for an outdoor location and for it to be more of a 'replica' of the wedding day look? Would it be bad if I enlarged one of those pics instead of the one from the wedding day?

Help, suggestions, comments?!!

I think that this is a great opportunity to do something totally different from your wedding day.

I know your wedding is YOUR wedding and it was amazing. But, why not take this opportunity to do something different???

I would love to do day after pictures in a different location. Since you didn't like your pictures from the actual wedding, why would you try to replicate it? Why not go for something you know you will like. :)

i have been looking into doing this at the beach, DH and i got married upstate as per my mothers request so i really want some romantic beach shots since we live on long island and he proposed at the beach....

but that is all i got so far.....i have been looking online at photographers for it

i say go for it and enlarge whatever picture you want to ......

Great point, we have no outdoor pictures so that's why i was thinking of something like Westbury Gardens or an outdoorsy place.

I am leaving towards TP, I love their work and anytime I see any pics that they took I am always like I should have used them!
Are you planning on using the same type of hairstyle you did for your wedding or something totally different?

I just wanted to say that I would use this as a chance to basically do what I didn't like the day of my wedding.

I hated my hair, so if I was to do the day after shoot, I would totally get my hair done differently.

Just my opinion. :)

its up to you guys really - there is nothing wrong with getting dolled up the same way and re-taking your wedding photos - i dont think day afters have to be 'different' if you dont want them to be....

and whether its replica style or not i dont see a problem with hanging a new photo - whether its day after or not to me, its still a 'wedding photo' and i think you should hang a photo you LOVE!

I thnk something different and that it is totally ok and that it ok to frame them too!

This is exactly how I feel I dont know if I should get more of the traditional pics that I didnt like basically retaken or go for a totally different look. Ugh I am so confused!!!

i am on her site several times, she does such a great job my friends and i all use her.....

i plan to do picts with DH and I and put them in our wedding ablum, i am doing it myself and enlarging some too
