Dear couple that just decided not to show up at my reception...

Thanks for not calling me to cancel..

How rude can you be? Im back from my honeymoon a week already, and still, I haven't heard from you.

Uuughhhh I seriously want to write a sarcastic thank you note to them.

My best guy friend did that to me....my wedding was in May, I have yet to hear from him....

I would like to drive to NJ and drag him out of his house and give him a good smack....

Dear MIL and MILs friend,
Thank you for verbally RSVPing yes for friends son and his GF (after he didnt have the courtesy to send back his own RSVP card) and leading me to believe that you actually talked to him about this only to tell me 3 days before the wedding that he 'can't get out of work' and isnt coming pretty much convincing me that (a) they never had any intention of coming in the first place and (b) you never actually asked him.

we had the same thing happen to us...only it was one of my DH's bosses!!!! His cousin actually called us two days before the wedding to tell us he forgot he was going to FLORIDA...ok!

One of my neighbor's (a friend) did this to us. I see him outside sometimes when I pass his house; he doens't look up or wave....itrs like I did something wrong.

Just a few days ago, I decided to stop and talk to him. He went on about how embarrased he was and how stupid he felt.

It is nice that this is squashed because it was uncomfortable. I told him that he is an adult and should have just called. I could see if he was ill or something happened in his family, but the excuse was neither.

this happened to me too and we had others that showed up and did not give us a gift. We had 6 no shows (2 cancelled 2 days before = too late for our refund) and 12 no-gifters

Ugh...that stinks about no-shows. We only had one couple not show, but it was because they had a baby the day before (and the father even came to the church to tell us the baby had come early and to apologize which was way too nice of them).

A friend of mine invited his boss to his wedding and they didn't show..no call, no nothing. Finally, the guy had to ask his boss about it (because they work together every friggin day and it was weird that the boss said NOTHING) and his excuse was that his wife had a headache...DEADBEATS!

We had stupid people who didnt come either-and of course who had no excuse...then we had two brothers-father's cousins call a day before wedding saying they werent coming-so sorry-blah blah-BUT had no excuse! Just, they couldnt come-like something better came up and they didnt feel like it...

i had 3 guy friends rsvp with their wives/girlfriends and then they didnt bring them to the wedding! i could've killed them!!!! i also had 1 friend verbally tell me on the phone that she would 'definitely be there' and then no showed!!! i could kick people's asses!!! 3 months later, i havent spoken to that girl and have no plans to reach out to her anytime soon!!!

why are people so inconsiderate??? dont they realize that this $hit isnt free!?!?!?!?
