This is for a friend of a friend :) She is getting married in early December and wanted to know if the altar is decorated for Christmas by then... She is unsure whether or not to order altar pieces.
I got married mid November and the altar was decoreated beautifully, but more of a harvest type decoration.
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Re: December brides- a question
Typically, in Catholic churches, they don't decorate for Christmas until after Christmas. During advent there might be an advent wreath, but nothing elaborate, maybe just some evergreens.

Re: December brides- a question
Our church had it decorated with the pointsettta and had a mini tree in the walkway..It changes from church to church. She should call her church and ask.

I think she did and they won't give her any information. That is what I suggested as well. I didn't think they did much decorating until after the holidays... thanks!
