decor dilemma

My house needs some art! But I have no idea where to begin. Our living room dining room is open plan we have light grey walls with a dark cobalt blue accent wall. I love black and white photography but I feel like it doesnt bring in enough for the room

They're opening a Home Goods in the Target/Michaels shopping center on Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore - I saw the sign when we went to Lowes the other day.

I have entirely too much artwork on our walls. I was thinking the other day that I should make a post asking if anyone wants to buy any of my paintings, our bar or our end tables that I don't use. I shop too much! I might have good luck on Craig's List.
