Decorating vent: spinoff on Michele31's post

Original post by Marnles

Just curious what you ladies think...

Do you ever feel like you have great ideas in your head, but you just can't find anything you like in the stores?

Shelves are the perfect example! I have gorgeous wrought iron shelves in my head (in brushed black, with scrolls), but no matter what I can't find them anywhere.....I have 4 different places I would like to put them, but no luck. And no matter what I do, or what I see, nothing compares! Meanwhile, they might not even exist!!

I bought them a couple of months ago but then I bought a set for my grandparents not too long ago. They should have them in the store!!

I feel the same way too. I am also bothered by not having the time to go look all over to find the things in my head!
