Delayed Honeymoon

Delayed Honeymoon

Some of you may remember that my DH and I were planning a delayed honeymoon to Italy for either June or Sept. Well we were talking about it yesterday and DH is a little worried about traveling overseas with the world situation these days. I naturally take the 'I'm not going to stop liviing my life approach' to this sort of thing, but I can totally understand his worry. So we are rethinking our destination. We are thinking something tropical with crystal clear blue water! I can be totally content sitting on the beach all day being served pina coladas! So, anyone have any suggestions? We have been to Mexico so I want to go someplace different. Anyone have experience with the Sandals resorts?

Re: Delayed Honeymoon

I went to Sandals, St. Lucia. We stayed at the Golf & Spa Resort. I HIGHLY recommend it. All-inclusive is the way to go. St. Lucia was so pretty, and the people there are so friendly.

Thanks Diane. I actually have two close friends that went there and had nothing but amazing things to say about it! I'm actually surfing their site now!

We went to Sandals Montego Bay last year-it was awesome!! They people were so nice, everything was clean, the food was good(not great)But I think for your HM Sandals has other resorts that are a little more elegant. MoBay is REALLY laid back, nothin going on after 11pm
If you decide to go, don't forget your marriage cert. so you can get your free china!!!!!

We went to Sandals Royal Bahamian... we totally enjoyed ourselves!! We thought the food was pretty good (lots of choices, 8 restaurants I think!) drinks were plentiful & there were things to do if you are night people. We spent a couple of nights hanging out in the British Pub, playing checkers & chess with a couple we met, a another night or 2 with another couple checking out the shows they had, one night down at the casino down the road.... plenty of things to do during the day... and plenty at night too! (or nothing at all!!!! )
