That is so horrible. For you both. Is there anyone on top of the bosses that he can turn to? It is so unfair for him to be blamed for something that he had no fault with and he should do whatever he can to clear his name. I can't believe your DH has to 'justify' wanting a meeting. That is so ridiculous.

Marisa I feel like you just cannot catch a break. I read a post of yours on LIF recently too - I was replying but I clicked on an ad and lost the whole thing - but I know things are rough ..... we need to do that drink thing soon. My DH is working constantly lately, so I'm free whenever you want to go

A note of advice about the letter - he might want to cut it down to a page or 2. 10 pages is LOOOOONG and while I know the info in it is important, it may overwhelm them and they may not even read it -- he should try to summarize it, maybe put some things in bullet points and then save the rest for the meeting. You don't want them to write him off before he has the meeting, and they may do that if they see alllll of that in a letter, you know?

Oh man that is so terrible. It doesn't seem like they will even give him a chance to explain what happened. That isn't fair and that is so frustrating!!! I feel bad that he has no friends to go hang out with.. I know how that feels b/c I am in the same situation.
I can't believe that something like this could cause him to lose his license!! And he knows that he did nothing wrong so it's frustrating to have no one listen to his side of the story. That is so hard. :( I send all of my prayers to him right now.

I am so sorry that your Dh is going through this. I always said if ur boss (job) treats you like S!it..just leave. I know in these times its hard to find a job but sometimes you just gotta do it. Where I work its no picnic either...not for me but for some of the ladies I work it....at least your DH has something to fall back on, even if PT time..at least for now. Its not worth the stress and pain you both are going through. Good luck and keep us posted.

it really suckss and I'm so sorry to hear that he is going thru this!! Poor DH. I'm so glad that he at least has YOU. I know that you're doing your best to comfort him and to just basically be there. It's gotta be rough. I can't believe that they are being such jerks about it. Usually you at least MEET with a person. Jeez. They sound like cowards - the type that would just slip somebody a note and then refuse to talk face-to-face. What's the deal? Sometimes I really hate working under people, they can be such jerks. I hope things turn around quick. I'm going to keep your Dh in my prayers. But like i said before, I'm just so glad that he has you in his life. I'm sure that helps a LOT!! You're a good wife to care so much

Sounds like DH needs to get his union rep involved in this. No reason for DH to get a disciplinary letter in his file for something he did not do wrong.
Good luck - and don't let DH do anything in haste ESPECIALLY if it concerns his license.
