DH is soo going to die!!!

So DH just asked me if i would be home tomorrow between the hrs of 9am-1 and i said no im watching my little cousin and wont be home till 4 and i said why and he gos ohh no reason, and i knew something was up. well i later found out he ordered a big freaken LCD screen TV We were going to wait till x-mas, well NOOOO he went and did it anyway. im so bad at him right now for not telling me! and he ordered the tv and we have no entertainment set to put it on! so hopefully he will be like lets go get the one you want this weekend and then ill be happy lol

I'd be FURIOUS!

DH did a sneaky one on me literally a week before the wedding. I knew he was going to buy a new car. He told me he got a Honda Civic. Okay, decent choice. This is when I was in Virginia taking a class so I wasn't around to see it.

A few days later, he shows me a pic of his car. A TWO DOOR! I was so pissed. For one thing, he knows how I feel about 2 doors. When does he think we're having kids- 5 years from now? It was more the principle of it than anything.

I got over it but I just thought it was a very stupid, impractical (which is not like him!) purchase. In his mind, he thinks it's just so easy to trade in...so we shouldn't worry about it til the time comes. But I don't get it- why not buy a car you can grow with?

MEN! I feel your pain! And he did this a week before the wedding so I REALLY blew up!

i couldn't be mad at that... b/c i do that to him haha
ill def. order stuff we're thinkign of ordering b/c he takes too long to 'think' about it...
i ordered our furniture, tv, latest video game system, and just this weekend mattress haha.
id say just chill out and enjoy the nice new shiny tv!
(he's learned to hehe)

I would be FUMING if he did soemthing like that.

But in a way, excited b/c it's a LCD BIg Screen

little purchases is one thing--but something that big would require discussion between us.

My Dh wouldn't do that with out me nor would i make a large purchase without him. Thats just the way we are.

yea id want him to make that decision with me since theyre so pricey. now if we had a buncha money laying around, i probably wouldnt be too upset. its just the fact that id want him to tell me before he did it.

I might be a little mad for his going and doing something like that, but honestly, I would get over it quick and probably be excited bc I am the one that wants another TV. I am the impulsive one and love getting new things.

OMG you just gave me deja vous - DH did the same thing when we moved in together a year and a half ago!

We were at my friend's house for New Years, and they had an HD tv - so of course that's all he could talk about......i said NO, lets wait, we have other expenses.

1 Week before Super Bowl Sunday I came home from work - and there it was in the living room. a 47 inch LCD HD TV!! And nothing to put it on either - that came the day before SBS.

Men.......

(Of course now I love it - once you go HD, you never go back!)

I would be furious if DH went and did that without telling me first. I know he really wants one too (what is it with men and HD TV's lol) and I told him to just wait a few months til we settle in financially and he seemed to agree, but now hearing these stories I'm afraid of going home one day and finding a huge TV sitting in my living room
