He's on his way to our new apartment in San Diego!!
but I am stuck here for another month...I can't believe how connected at the hip we are...I feel lost
If anyone knows a student in my school...please do not mention this...my students don't know that I am leaving yet...my boss and I will tell them next week...

Try to rent a few 'chick' flicks and eat stuff that you love and he doesn't for the next few weeks.

I am not really excited yet, b/c I am still recovering from the fact that he is gone...I'm aslo stressed from all the boxes we have and I am going to have to go to UPS to ship them...
the worst part is that I am in my old room at my parents house and they don'[t have a satelite box for my room :( so I have rabbit ears...and one channel...channel 8...(at least I could watcht he bachelor last night)
but one month from tomorrow...i will be leaving too!!

A friend of mine made the move from NY to SD a few years ago. She LOVES it out there. She's just a bit north and east of the city.
It's a different way of life, but she settled in very easily. She loves the beach, the sunshine, the fact that her garden is blooming out of control all year long.
Make sure you make frequent visits to the zoo and Wild Animal Park (where she works).

thanks everyone...I called in sick yesterday...adn I have no desire to do any work anymore...but I figured I'd be useless if i stayed home...
Cira...the GTG is the perfect distance away to keep me motivated...and hopefully AC with soem friends next weekend...

Erica... I feel as if I just got to know you the past few months and all I have to say is that I REALLY am going to miss you...but I wont miss you too much if you stay on LIW and LJT!!! we can still keep up with things!

Good luck on moving. I'm sure your students will miss you a lot but it sounds like a wonderful opportunity for you and your husband. You have to go for it! As far as being lonely I guess now is the time to visit all the friends and family in NY. Also eat at your favorite places...now is a good time to do your last minute things.

I'll be there from 5/3-5/11 I'm actually researching the area online now - I have no idea where our hotel is in relation to the town, what the weather is like, etc... but I can't wait!
