Yesterday I got home around 7:30pm and when I got off the train I called DH to see if I should pick up some food (I was not in the mood to cook, lol). He said no, he had already eaten a little something.
So I get home and it smells good... I go in the kitchen and DH had made dinner!! He made linguine with clam sauce, served with salad!
All by himself!!!
The other times he's cooked it's been like our frozen bourbon chicken or popcorn chicken (just pop in the oven type of stuff). I was so impressed and excited! He even packed me some to bring for lunch today!
Work has been CRAZY lately (I have a ton more work/responsibilities and our office is moving and I'm in charge of that too ), so it was really great to get home and have this nice surprise.
So yeah, I just wanted to give my DH props I think he's a keeper

That must have been the best walking into a nice meal especially since he said he ate already. I get so mad when dh eats without me .

Thats so sweet! My DH is a horrible cook...but when he tries to make dinner, like baked salmon or eggs, i really love it and appreciate him that much more

LOL! Yeah, I mentioned to him that he's REALLLLLLLY stuck with me cuz we got married twice!
Oh and he was totally lying when he said he had already eaten! I realized he just said that so I wouldn't buy food outside for us. We sat and ate his homemade dinner together Of course, the Mets game was on in the background, lol!

I married mine twice and he doesn't cook for me most he will do is open the minus the Turkey

I am so jealous!! My DH doesn't know how to make anything! I'm lucky if he pours me a drink. If he ever made an entire dinner, I would do this --->
