Ok this this is what i have on the menu...tell me if you think its enough for about 20+ people! (how im going to fit 20+ people in our itty bitty apt i have no idea) oh yeah but its suppose to snow sooooo prob will be way too much food cuz nobody will show up!! IT ALWAYS SNOWS WHEN I TRY AND PLAN SOMETHING THAT REQUIRES PEOPLE TO TRAVEL!!! UGH!!
anywhoo!
ok i ordered: 6ft hero half italian half american with potato salad, macaroni salad, and coleslaw (i was just going to to appetizers at first but i wasnt sure if i would have time to do everything!! making: Mini Sliders (my first atempt at this i got that infomercial slider maker for my shower and never used it) cheddar cheese sausage balls made them before i know they are yum! Taco Cups its basically taco dip already in tostedos scoops, like individually already dipped..with refried beans, taco meat salsa sour cream, topped with an sliced olive. Cheddar cheese pepperoni puffs never made these before either so im nervous they wont come out right! then i have, chips gallore, onion dip, salsa...etc my mom is making: a veggie and dip platter and buffalo chicken dip my SIL is bringing spinach dip in a bread bowl
then im baking: chocolate cake, red velvet cup cakes, chocolate chip cookies and brownies
i have such anxiety about this and DH pretty much knows about it already! I dont wanna ask him to help because he is a chef and whatever will take over and i want people to know that i can cook and host a fab party by myself!!!!!!!!! i just wanna look like a good housewife and im nervous im not going to get it all done!!!
and how much beer should i get! im use to just have chris friends come over who bring their own all the time?? 3- 18 packs good?

Re: DH's bday party menu
Quick question -
CAN I COME?
Holy crap - sounds so good!
I think 3 18 packs would be OK but usually people will bring stuff with them. (I say usually because DH's friends NEVER do. But we always do.)

Would you mind sharing your recipe for the cheddar sausage balls? There's nothing better than cheddar and sausage, especially in ball formation LOL.

Re: DH's bday party menu
That all sounds soooo good!!! ::mouth is watering:: It's too close to lunch. Haha.
And that beer should be enough, we usually get less and always have so much left over. And if you need more you can always go get it.
