Yesterday we went topick up our negatives (as promised by our photographer when we signed with them) and I was so heartbroken and disappointed to see that they gave us an edit cd with our wedding proofs. I was expecting to receive ALL of the images our photographer too the day of our wedding (including the images they deemed not good enough to print).
Up until this point I have been so happy with them but I have to say that I am so disappointed.

Did you express this to them?
IF someone told me that I was going to receive the negatives, i would assume that meant all of them... i would definitely say something!

I used Patken too & was extremely pleased with my phtographer & proofs. I am still waiting on all the albums.
So I am a bit confused - you have to wait a year to get negatives on a CD or something...is that how it works? So did you basically get a copy of all the proofs that you already had in albums on a CD? Just trying to understand!

Please don't misunderstand..up until this point I have been very happy with Patken but I am disappointed that my expectations for the negatives were not met. I will be calling them to explain that and hopefully they will work with me. I was expecting to get ALL of my pictures - not just the edited proof pictures on the cd.

No - I totally understand. I am just trying to see what we actually get in one year. Is it the proofs that we already received but then you get it on a CD?
