Did any Bride fall or slip on her wedding day????

Original post by KRISTYRUSSELL

Me, I did right after the first dance, as soon as we started to walk off the dance floor to sit at our table, I fell, right down in front of our own table. I laughed so hard It hurt, but popped up so quick, nobody really noticed except for a few people nearby, my darn bustle, it fell down right before our first dance, so all we could do is rock back and forth otherwise I would of went flying acroos that dance floor, then I had to hold my dress all night long.

I slipped once - during our first dance!!! Hehehe, everyone said they didn't notice but I think they're just being nice :)

I'll have to wait for the video to see what it looked like

I didn't fall at my wedding but I did at my sisters. I caught my heel in the overlay of my dress and went down in the middle of the dance floor. I was on my way out for a smoke when I fell and it should have been a sign to turn around. But I still went out and lit my nail on fire trying to light the cigarette. Needless to say I no loger smoke and have my dresses fitted properly now

I'm really surprised I didn't during the hora. After the ceremony, I didn't want to bustle my sweep train because I loved it so much. Which was funny, as I was pretty determined NOT to have a train when I was first gown shopping, but I loved my gown and the sweep train. So, I had it down for the first dance, and that was fine. however, I was not expecting the DJ to go straight into the hora, so there I was, getting swung around, stepping on my train, tripping, sliding, trying to hang on to it. It was fun, and really funny, but...I nearly killed myself.

Other than that, no trips or slips. I had on 1' heels, my gown was hemmed so I could walk easily, and once I was bustled, it was no big deal. And I was very careful on stairs.

No luckily I didn't slip or fall, but that was one of my biggest fears beforehand! I almost did a few times when I was dancing with my flip flops on, but I steadied myself in time.

yeah, something no one talks about is how treacherous it is to dance in a giant poof and bridal shoes....

We practiced dancing like any diligent engaged couple.... when the music started on the big day, I noticed RIGHT AWAY that it wasn't going to be easy. My hem was the proper length, but at that length, it can easily catch on your shoes as you dance.... I stepped on the back of my bustle, tearing a ribbon.....

I didn't FALL, but I sure came close a couple times

Yes but not many people saw....I had two pairs of shoes---and for reception changed into second pair, the heel was about 1/2 inch shorter, I also decided to take off my slip that was annoying me....well my great aunt warned me that I would have probs since taking off the slip would make my dress longer but I didn't listen....

DH and I went outside of CLM to take a few pics in the dark and walking down the few stairs, I tripped on my dress and took a spill...I was fine, dress was basically fine too AND I put my slip and other shoes back on!

YES! That was the one thing I never expected--I am a dancer and I was like I CAN'T dress in this big thing----so heavy---It was odd---I was like--no one told me wearing this would be hard
