Did any of you Newlyweds Block rooms at the Garden City Hotel?
Sorry to barge into the Newlywed forum but I figured you would be the peeps to ask this question too, (also posted on Brides too, so you may have seen already, sorry)
We are thinking of blocking rooms there for our wedding and just wanted an advice or tips from anyone that has already done so.

I blocked rooms there, overall I was pleased but they did forget to mention the renovations which put a damper on the whole situation. Make sure you speak with group reservations and that they indeed do keep things open such as the nightclub and restaurant for the convenience of your guests

They are still doing renovations now, I went there a week ago and they told me they should be done in 3 weeks, so I should be go to in March. But I will ask when I make my reservation for my room. Did you stay there too? She mention some deal for us that she was going to give with a King Deluxe room or something?
