Did any place NOT send you a new card when you changed your name?

I changed my name on most of my membership cards so far, and still have a few left to change over. But here's what I find strange.

A few of them I changed over a month ago already and yet they haven't issued me a new card with the new name on it. Almost all of them have issued me a new card except for a select few. I know it's been changed over because when I check it online, it shows the new info, but why wouldn't they issue me a new card?

Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm so confused as to what name I have where. I've kept both licenses until I know that I am officially changed everywhere.

everything went pretty smoothly for me.

I'm going through this too. You have to specifically request them to send you a new credit card. For most of my credit cards, it was automatic. But AmEx for example, changed my name on the account, but they did not send me an updated credit card. I had to call back and request a new card be sent.
