did anyone complain to a vendor.......

Just wondering if anyone was a little unhappy with a vendor and after the wedding called them and explained to them why they were unhappy? Did anyone get any money back for the complaint? LOL since I had to pay in mostly cash for everything Im thinking that most vendors wouldnt care and wouldnt give any money back. Just wondering about other experiences...

There are two small things from two different vendors and they really wern't a huge deal of course, but I didn't get what I asked for. I feel like I was sooooooooooooooo specific about things and dont understand how they got confused. It really was nothing difficult! am debating saying anything to them.

I think you should at least call them, even if your money is not returned at least they might be able to do something for you. You will loose nothing by trying, but can gain something by calling.

I think you should say something because it's clear you're thinking about it and by saying something - you'll get it off your chest. Also, you may get some of your money back and lastly, by saying something - you may get them to listen to future brides a little more attentively.

Good Luck

We were unhappy with the job of one of our vendors, but it only affected the day of and there was nothing we could do after the fact so we didn't really say anything to the vendor .

Evertyhing else was great and this thing didnt ruin our wedding but I do get a little upset when I think about it, and sometimes I do feel that we should have said something. So, I would advise that if its going to make you feel bad to not say anything at least you can mention it to your vendor.

This is exactly what I was thinking! I felt like with one of them I was super specific and that they just totally ignored me and did what they wanted. And they are a vendor that is often recommended on here and I would recommend them as well as their items are good quality and beautiful, but they need to listen more to what people ask for! I know Im not the only one who had the same thing happen with this particular florist.

Re: did anyone complain to a vendor.......

We had a pretty considerable issue with one of our vendors and I 100% said something after the wedding. It took many months, but the vendor finally agreed to give us a partial refund (although when we saw the check we were very disappointed with the small amount).

One thing, I think it took so many months because I was trying to be nice about it because we had really liked the person we were dealing with and who performed the service for us. I honestly felt like he was giving us the runaround and his 'logic' for explaining himself didn't add up no matter how many times he repeated himself, lol. But whatever, in the end we took the partial refund and left it at that because it wasn't worth it for me or us to get more upset about. He just won't be getting a raving recommendation from us like we would have given had he done everything he was contracted for.

So I think you should definitely say something. Like mentioned above, if you don't say something I think it will just keep bothering you.

Totally agree. This happened to us with our photography by the corporate portion of the company and we were ignored and treated badly by the photographer so we didnt get it resolved but I was able to vent and now other ladies know about the experience so they can avoid it.

Also happened to us with the RH and my 'lost' necklace but that was resolved through the inusrance company and it wouldnt have been if I didnt open my mouth.
