I got married two weeks ago, and have no interest in keeping my gown. I mean, I love it, I was so happy I wore it, but it's not like I'll ever wear it again. And shopping for a gown was a wonderful bonding experience between me and my mom, and I'd want my future daughters to have that experience too, so I wouldn't ask them to consider wearing it either.
So I've decided to either sell my gown or donate it to a charity like Brides against Breast Cancer. I'm leaning towards donating it, as my mother has cancer and I feel like doing any little bit I can do, you know?
So I was wondering if anyone else donated their gown, and how that went.

Re: Did anyone donate her wedding gown?
Oh I'd be interesting in knowing as well....any links on the Brides against Breast Cancer?
We did a couple of things during our wedding planning for Breast Cancer since both of our mother's are survivors. Next month I'm doing the NW chop so I can donate.
