We are thinking of eating it for our 6 month marker, for the following reasons.
1. Not sure it is wrapped well enough.
2. It may have thawed a little during our move to NJ
3. I could really use the added space in the freezer.
Did anyone do this? are there certain 'wedded bliss' ramifications?

I'm thinking about doing this too. We only saved 2 slices, or we would have NO room in our freezer. They are wrapped and ziploc-ed, but every time I am rearranging stuff in the freezer after shopping, the cake either falls out or gets smashed- it drives me nuts! I can't wait to get it out of there.

we ate ours the day after the wedding..we were both really partying at the reception that we did not eat the cake so we were dying for a piece, we shared it with my family

I had a slice the day after the wedding. Then my mom served the rest of it to her friends while we were on our honeymoon!

Yes. We ate ours on Christmas..Our 3 month anniversary. I thought it would taste ok being that we were eatting it earlier..it was horrible..We took some pics with eat, took a few bites, and threw it out..

we ate it at the 4 month mark because we were moving from NY to GA and we had all our friends over on July 4th...they all ate it with us!!! It tasted good

We ate it on our 1 month anniversary and it was already freezer burned (I'm sure it wasnt wrapped up right).

We ate ours in October. Couldn't wait a year. The cake was just so good, had to have it sooner that one year anniv.

We are waiting for the 1 year anniversary and CAN'T WAIT!!!! I wish DH would agree to eat it earlier!!

I had a peice around 3 months when we finally brought it to our own freezer, from my moms. I figured if it s ucked, I wouldn't keep it. It was hard to tell, b/c that peice was frozen.
I would eat more, but I don't want to defrost the whole thing & don't know if I can cut it up frozen.

We had ours over the weekend, but it was only one week early (and b/c we were with my parents, who had the cake!).
