change their views on any of their vendors after seeing their video or after your wedding???

I did! I know I would not recommend my DJ b/c he didnt listen to LIKE THREE Things he wrote down to do
such as didnt play my last song! and he didnt play what I requested to throw my bouquet to! and he did write that down!

and I had TWO Boxes of giveaways which I SAW on my video and one box was not distributed!!! and I sent an email and got no response so I let it go but it made me mad

while everyone had a good time
and those are minor things
when you want everything to go perfectly
you would think people would listen
you know? especially when we all put so much time into deciding these songs. etc.....

just curious if anyone else was dissatisfied after the fact

Although I liked both my photographer and videographer... after seeing the other brides proofs on this board and seeing and hearing so much about wild rose - I might have chosen differently.
Although I am very satisfied with everything -- I wish I would have know about this board earlier!

I realized SO MUCH MORE after my wedding and talk about being able to give much better advice since you went through it.

I realized that my photog was so uncreative! I booked them before I found this site, wish I would have waited because I had a zillion others to check out, I think I would have booked Imagine after seeing Shamma and Christine's pics...

I also would have done a video...

But coulda woulda shoulda, it still was the best day!

dj thing just made me mad and I thought of it yesterday when a friend of mine asked me for a DJ for her daughters communion
I was like not mine! I told her to go to the bodyrock website LOL

Tammy..I just checked your profile -- I used the same DJ! I'm surprised that you didn't like them. I guess their work is inconsistent.

but why write things down and not do it! Plus MIL was upset he I guess forgot to give out the sunglasses and tambourines, as I watched the video I was like nobody got glasses???

how annoying is that?! That's as annoying as my friend who told us how he spent the night at his friend's wedding at the bar with the PHOTOGRAPHER!!!

Oh totally....

I thought I had it all wrapped up in a neat little package. A group of vendors I liked and trusted (that came with personal references from my friends) at a very affordable price.

YEAH WELL, the reality was they were a trainwreck waiting to happen. Video guy spent more time stuffing his face than he did shooting my wedding (missed alot of core stuff), DJ blew (power kept failing, 'forgot' giveaways that were paid for, didn't play anything like what I had originally asked for in terms of a play list, etc.), florist gave me hard time day of wedding about items that were missing, etc. After the wedding, I gave them all hell and sent formal complaint letters to them (and threatened to send them to BBB and give them bad reviews if I was personally asked for a referral for bridal services). I got action. I got a check back for my giveaways (it didn't help me out on the wedding day of course), I got two free copies of my finished video and I got squat from the Florist. They all knew I was ****ed and were afraid I would pass along a bad word on this board. I think they are no longer in business thankfully. They were horrible.

I wouldnt have changed any of my vendors, they aall did a GREAT job, and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.
In fact if I had to do it all over again, I would have still went with them

I was very happy with all my vendors -- even more so after watching the video and getting back my pictures because during the whole reception, I wasn't really paying total attention!!

Shamee, I'm so sorry you had such horrible luck with your vendors! I hope they gave you back some money!

I wish I would of found this board sooner. I would have had probably different floris and photo & video. My flowers were ok, everybody thought they were beautiful but they were not what I wanted.

Not to sound cheesy...put everything truly was perfect on my wedding day! Pictures are amazing! We love the video! Flowers were breathtaking, DJ rocked and did everything I asked! Limos were spotless! I would recommend all my vendors without hesitation!

Tammyjill - I agree. I realized the same thing about our DJ the next day. I did not see halo of our giveaways. We spent a lot of time talking to various guests, and while there were a lot of people on the dance floor, neither Mark or myself are big dancers. I realized also that our 'play list' was hardly touched at all. Also, we had my niece sing our 1st dance song and he interrupted her about 4 or 5 times to ask other couples to join us on the dance floor. That made me mad
