did anyone have a hostess for there wedding

i posted this on the BHB board regarding a hostess.

I have my BP set and i love all my girls. I know that the day of the wedding everything will run smoothly because i know my cousin that is a BM, her mom (my aunt) will be one step ahead of all of us, his cousin who is a BM, her mom (his aunt) will be with me and my girls every step of the way, my other BM is an organized a holic person. Kidding me she would be calling the hall from the limo telling them what time to be expecting us. my 2 MOH are just wonderful, one is a matron and the other has been a MOH for her sister.

so i know that all my bases will be covered.

Then on the flip side, its well all the girls and i are going to be so busy maybe it would be nice to have someone make sure everyone has the right bo-k, programs are neat and organized, someone to meet and greet everyone, etc...

is a hostess more of a 'job' or a more of someone to be the making sure things are on track.

how many of you had hostesses?? did you find it to be a good or bad thing? was this person happy to be a hostess?

any other feedback would be greatly appreciated
