No. I really don't think you need one. Its pretty easy to change your name. You just go to social security first and then motor vehicle.Then you can call your auto insurance,call your credit card companies and change your medical forms.

I ended up not changing my name BUT i had heard that those kits were a total scam. They essentially package up free forms you can download from the net and sell them to you.

I bought one. It's got about two or three forms in it. A pen that doesn't work. And it thoroughly confused and overwhelmed me! The only good thing about it was the checklist. It lists the places you need to contact, like credit cards, magazines subscriptions, and other things you might overlook. Other than that, it's USELESS.

total waste of $$$! Just go to the websites of SS and DMV etc and get the forms you need there.

I bought it never used it, it is still sitting in my house what a waste.
