I didnt but Im curious to hear from people who have had them. I'd like to get them once in my life but I want to know how much and how much of a hassle they are.

I didn't get extensions because my friend had them and they were (a) really really expensive and (b) although they looked great at first, the maintenance is a nightmare. Not to mention that she would be out to dinner with friends/clients, etc and her extensions would just fall out!!! How embarassing!!!

But, I did use a hairpiece that I clipped onto the back of my head and that gave me an updo with lots of volume. My hair looked really thick!

I wore them in my hair to make my barrel curls on top fuller. and the sweep around the front as well.

When I was a BM in my cousins wedding I was the only one with all my real hair. My cousin (the bride) and her two sisters (MOH and other BM) all wore hair pieces. Sorry I don't have any pictures but they all looked really good and none of them had any problems throughout the night.

Do you mean extensions or extra hair pieces? I think they are different. Hair pieces for example, can just be pinned into an updo to make it look fuller. When I think of extensions, I think of adding hair all over to make your hair longer/ thicker in general. I think it is a pretty involved and expensive process. I just had a few locks of hair pinned into my do to make the bun look fuller. No one ever knew (until now...)

I mean extensions to make my hair look longer and fuller but only for that day. I want to wear my hair half up. It is only shoulder length now and doesn't get much longer.

I saw one on tv that looked really cool. You just put your hair in a pony tail and attach the extra hair.

I didnt but my dad kept saying..is that really her hair?!?! He screamed out during the ceremony to my mom...I never knew she had that much hair..thats all her ****in hair?!?!?! Hes an ex cop so he has no couth(sp) at all!!!!!!!!!

I wore one of those clip on ponytails that you can get at the mall kiosks. So did my sister, my mother and one of my bridesmaids.
My hair is pin straight and I wanted to wear it half-up. The ponytail gave it the perfect amount of height and helped the veil sit better on my head.
No one could tell.

I'm lucky because my hair is black. Depending on what color your hair is (like if you have highlights or something) finding a hairpiece might be difficult...but I think it's totally worth it.

Here's my hair piece - ignore the pic, I'm chowing down in the bridal suite! I bought it for about $60 from a kiosk at Roosevelt field - it made such a difference!!

I got one that you attach to the pony tail (my hair goes almost to my waist, and ti had some braiding. It made my updo fuler, and the little braides looked amazing! Nobody could tell that it was an added piece.
