did anyones husband...

get one of those straight razor shaves before the wedding? i was thinking of getting it done and was looking for a place that does it.

Mine did. He went to a barber shop in Stony Brook Village. My step-dad goes there all the time for the straight-razor shaves and swears by them.

when he first went, did he break out? i heard it takes time for your face to get adjusted to it.

i know someone who did. they went to a barber shop on Union Tpke in Glen Oaks.

I'm sure any local 'mens' barbershop will lather you up!!

He was fine but he doesn't have very sensitive skin. If you are worried about it, why not try one out beforehand? I do think that most barbershops do them.

I think that is a great idea. Most barber shops do it. Right near my job on Wall Street there is a place that all they do is shaves! Cannot imagine what it must cost.

My Fh gets them for special occassions in Brooklyn. He never had a problem with breaKOUTS AND HE HAS VERY SENSITIVE SKIN.

Patrick had every intention of going for a shave and a massage, but on the morning of our wedding our (nasty witch of a ) realtor called nagging about our termite and cesspool inspections, and he had to straighten that out instead. I felt so bad that he missed his pampering, so we made up for it at the spa on our honeymoon.
