If so, where? I'm searching for a 7.5' tree, fake of course, with colored lights already on it. I want a full tree, not a skinny one.

This year since DH and I are married we are getting a real tree but, when I lived in my apt. I had an 6.5' artificial tree - pre lit and I got it at WALMART!! It's beautiful. I plan on putting it upstairs this year and the real one down stairs!!

no i always wait until alot closer to x-mas, otherwise if i get it too ahead of time then it starts looking bad. I always get the trees from those who sell it on the street but always get the real ones.
they have it at walgreens and stores like that. Here is an article about it, so maybe get the one without the lights
Artificial Christmas trees sold at Walgreen stores nationwide and miniature lights sold in New York are being recalled because of electrical shock and fire hazards, the government said today.
Consumers are advised to stop using the trees and lights and return the products to the place of purchase for a refund.
A device in the tree stand used to light the trees can overheat and catch fire, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said. There are two known instances of the device overheating and melting, but no reports of injuries.

My parents had an extra artificial tree and gave it to us. It was from Target. It is not a pre-lit tree. I like decorating my own tree.

Make sure first that you can fit it, that is tall. We have one already. The best time to get it is after the holidays, for next year or try on black fri.
