I love my dress with the straps and it also came in strapless, but I didn't want my arms to show, so the seamstress added sleeves. Did anyone else make any changes to their dress?

I added a spaghetti strap, and I changed the fabric

2 days before my wedding I went to pick up my dress and I decided it needed more POOF. The lady began cutting the hoop out and I thought my mom was going to DIE ha ha Then we added a crinolin......IT WAS POOFY!!

well this is the dress that was my inspiration, as you can see it has a very small train

For my dress, we used the same silk charmuese as the 1st layer, and for the sash, but used a silk lace instead of the french lace that the original dress had. also made the train alot longer.

and my aunt made a few cutsie things like a bollaro and scarf with some excess materials

the model is my original dress and then my mom added beading and trim along the waisteline and a tulle overlay on the bottom part of the dress.. she also made it less poofy for me cuz the dress was heavy!!
go mom! loved it!

I had straps added to my dress. At first people told me I was crazy but i was not comfortable in strapless. In the end i was so glad I did it.

This girl gets around she was your model too!!

I freaking LOVE that Melissa Sweet gown! I salivated over that picture of it for so long! lol It would not have looked good on my body type plus I couldn't have afforded it anyway. Your replica turned out AMAZING!!! SOOOOO beautiful!! Your Aunt is a very talented dress maker!!

not a huge change---but we added modesty panel to the neckline--cause i felt it had a little TOO much cleavage showing

you can see it there in between my boobs.

I don't have a good pic on this computer of me IN the dress w/o the panel--

I was not comfortable in a strapless dress so I had straps added. Sorry I don't have a great before picture of my dress but it will give you an idea.

i liked both dresses but fell in love with the neckline on the one i got so since my mom does this type of work she was able to incorporate the style from yours into mine! which was good because i couldnt decide on which dress to buy!

I guess I went the opposite way most brides go. I shortened my train (to make it easier to get around since I have mobility issues).

Back view of dress twins (I dont think I have a good full pic of me showing the whole train before we adjusted it)
