did you ever have a cyst burst ? (warning: wayyyy too much info)

well when I did have pain similar to that, they did check to see if i had a cyst burst, so its definitely possible, i had something else but they said the pain can be a cause of a few things. BUT make sure you tell them to specifically check for that. Around the same time that happened to me, same thing happened to my friend. She went to the doc and they checked for everything BUT a cyst burst, they said it was a bleeding ulcer so for 2 weeks she was on meds for that and it was getting worse though and she was in ALOT of pain, she went to the hospital bc she couldnt take it anymore and it was bc of a cyst burst. I was surprised they didnt check for that bc i said for me thats what they checked for first.

I would just go to the doc tonight. You can even see your regular doctor, i went to a regular dr to get a sonogram done bc my gyno was so booked and also to see if it was something else

they will do an internal sonogram, it doesn't hurt

they just did sonogram tests on me thats all, dont worry. They did it over my ovaries, they even had me turn to the side to check for kidney stones and also gallbladder bc they said that could be a possibility and checked other things too.

But even in the past i had an issue with something else, i kept getting my period every 2 weeks then sometimes every week, it was crazy. So i went to my gyno and they did a sonogram again, they checked first to see if i had a cyst burst or anything like that but it wasnt that either, it was hormonal but in order to get to that diagnosis they had to do sonogram to check for everything else first. This sonogram was the one they insert in you though, the other one at the reg docs office wasnt, it was the one they just roll over your stomach and other parts

but seriously go tonight, call your doc and tell them youre in alot of pain and have to see him/her tonight and they will take you. I wouldnt let this go

Jess: Stop thinking about making sauce and GO TO THE DR!!!!! Go to the ER if you have to. Please! I am with MB, I do not like it that you are 'doubled over in pain.' Go! Now!

Ive had numerous cysts bursts. You do get a liquid that comes out. I remember waking up in such pain and going to the hospital. Hot showers with the shower head pressed up against my ovaries helped, and lots of tylenol. SOrry you have to go through this. Its terrible.


Like the others said...I would get it checked out asap. If its alot of fluid..I believe it can be toxic. Plus you cant know for sure until they do an internal sono!

Jess if you haven't already please go to the doctor NOW.

I don't want to scare you but my best friend had one that burst and they had to do emergency surgery. I know it is probably not your case but don't take any chances. Cysts can release toxins into your body -- NOT WORTH THE CHANCE!

I hope you went to the dr also and that they did a sonogram...it does soundlike a burst cyst (I had one years ago, I was doubled over in pain at work and had to go home) and had the same bleeding. But my dr diagnosed it...ing for you that you went!!!!! Please update us ASAP!!!
