I had my E-party at Chateau La Mer about 2 months after I got engaged. We hadn't even set a date yet.

WE HAD OURS AT THE MEADOW CLUB. IT WAS AWESOME....JUST LIKE A WEDDING!!

My dad and stepmom hosted a small dinner for us at Tavern on the Green.

We had two - a family (at in-laws' house) and a friends (at East Point Inn).

We had ours at my mom & stepdad's house a year and a few weeks before our wedding. This was when our families finally got to meet & we had just a few good friends.

We had a fancy bbq in my backyard last October. It wound up being really cold that weekend, so at the last minute we had to rent tents and heaters. It turned out great. It was informal enough that everyone mingled, but I can assure you noone left hungry! My parents went a little overboard with the food.

Ours was at Garden City Casino in Garden City. It is a small country club type place. It was beautiful. They have some kind of package. It was great!! We had it about a year and six months before our wedding!!

we had one at the Fox Hollow- on a Friday night and we booked it close to the date- only five weeks b-4

We had ours in DH's sister's backyard in Sept 03 (we got engaged in July 03).

We had ours in my BIL's backyard in July of 03. We got engaged in Dec of 02, and were married May of 04.

BIL, lives in mastic. We decorated with bows and tulle and balloons, and we had a great time! I rented tables and chairs, and had a few family members help out with the food by bringing dishes.

There was WAY too much food! And all of the youger people stayed late and partied into the wee hours of the morning.

We had ours at the Bellport Country Club. I HIGHLY recommend them. It was a beautiful party!

We had ours at Molly Mallones. We had it about a month and a half after we got engaged.
