lol KINDA. 'Living separately in the same house' is what i like to call it....to make a really long complicated story short, DH & his mom had a huge falling out & he had no where else to really go...so he moved in with me & my mom(in my moms place). We had separate bedrooms and everything!(being that i come from a pretty traditional & conservative home..this meant we'd say goodnight to each other & head to our different rooms lol)....needless to say we were VERY happy to come home to our own place the day after the wedding...and it was awesome to wake up next to my 'husband'but i'm glad it was that way - 'cause it made REALLY getting our own place super special, but at the same time we were sorta used to each others quirks & habits already.... and DH & his mom have a WAY better relationship since he got out of that house!

We were the same way! A few people I know thought it was so odd but it worked for us and it worked for you so it wasn't so bad.![]()
Yes we did for a few years before the wedding.

dated a little over a year before we moved in together, and got engaged almost 2 years after that. Got married about a year later..... so we lived together about 3 years before the wedding....

Yep. We moved in together 9 months before the wedding. We had been dating for almost 4 years when we finally moved in together. I'm so glad we did though -- we learned each others quirks and such before marriage which made for a really easy transition.

Nope. We moved in together after we got married.
We got engaged of July 05, moved in June of 06 and got married June of 07. So we had the whole year of being engaged and living together which was great.
No. We were engaged in April 06, bought our home in Oct. 06, but I didnt move in until after the wedding.
No--technically I moved in to our house the week before we left for NY for the wedding, lease up June 30, wedding July 9!
we got engaged july 2005 after 6 yrs of dating...we bought our dream house in november of 2005 which pushed back the wedding till june 2007 so we could afford both,.....so i always wanted to wait till we got married but i didnt want to lose out on the feeling of spending the 1st night together in our new place...besides i knew for the next 1.5 yrs i would always be there and i didnt want it to feel like it was dh place and i was moving in i wanted to move in toghter for 1st time.....so yes we lived together before and i wouldnt change it for anything!
