Did you lose anything on your wedding day?

I lost my veil so very sad about that.

Christine (EAP) put it in a box in the back. FH and I left to go to the after party across the street. He went back to get some stragglers and the manager gave him a box. I didn't realize it was THAT box--thought it was extra favors. Anyway, we left the box in the bar. Went back the next day and the box was there! I opened it and it contained extra polaroid film, favors, menus, placecards and other assorted items. No veil. I couldn't believe someone took my veil and left all of that other stuff! I put an ad on Craigslist Lost and Found and Missed Connections. No bites...

I also have no freakin' idea what happened to the ringpillow. It is in some of the pictures after the ceremony, but that is the last I have seen of it.

Oh well...

yes i lost my hanky (it was my baptismal cap that my mom saved))

I'm pretty sure we managed to keep track of everything. I seriosuly cant think of anything we left behind.

But I did break my mom's rosary beads JUST before I walked down the aisle I was so upset I almost told them not to open the church doors. I literally wanted to fix it right then and there, I was freaking out. Thank God Christine (EAP) calmed me down immediately and threw open those doors so I had no choice but to start walking

No but it took me awhile to find everything!

I think I can count myself lucky I didn't lose anything that day. I thought for sure I was going to lose my veil or shoes (I changed into sneakers) but my Mom and MAtOH kept me together.

I didn't loose anything but I forgot to take a napkin, menu, table number, etc for my scrapbook, oops!

I didn't but I thought I lost one of my earrings which were the earrings my grandmother wore at her wedding and were something she told me she wanted me to wear at my wedding right before she passed away. By some miracle, the caterer called while we were on our HM and being the amazing people they were, they had the staff search the vaccum bags to see if it was in there and they found it.... I was SO lucky!

I lost my shoes I took them off at the end of the night and left them on the floor. When we left the hall I forgot to take them. We've called them, but they said they never found any

I lost my monogrammed hanky (with my married monogram). I didn't get to use it, so it was a waste of money. Oh well.

I lost a gift. On my video one of my BM has it in her hands and she said she put it in the bridal suite. Somehow it never made its way out and the RH said that they didn't see it.. Then again we didn't know it was missing until we got back from our honeymoon so anything could have happened to it.

my mom lost her veil at her reception!

I lost the ring pillow. That sounds like nothing much, except I made it myself using the best linen and a piece of handmade lace we bought in budapest........ I wanted to pass it down to my kids...

I had sightings in pictures from friends and family... I eventually tracked it down I have a disabled friend who has memory problems. The last pics of it had her in it, so I asked her, and she said 'oh yeah! Its been in my car for over a month!'

I was sooo happy to get it back......
