Just wondering how many ladies married someone like their father...or is your DH completely opposite..or what?

my Dh has similar traits...my Mom & i laugh at them...thank god DH doesn't have some of the bad ones though

They are both handy, and have a similar sense of humor, but other than that they are polar opposites.

Yep, I totally married my dad. I love my dad- but sometimes it is scary. So many things about them are similar- same work ethic, same stupid jokes.

I married my dad, brother, and step-dad It is crazy because you can see all 3 of them in Joe. He's sensative like my dad, has ADHD and is a slob like my brother, and takes forever to tell a story and thinks about EVERY word before he speaks like my step-dad. It is really amazing how he is all 3 of the most important men in my life wrapped into 1. It's never boring

No...quite the opposite. my last boyfriend before DH was a lot like my Dad and he drove me bananas...which is why we didnt' last! but my Dad doesn't drive me crazy... so i guess it's different when the person you want to hook up with is like your dad...

YES they're similar in a lot of ways. Both tell corny (but funny) jokes and both have a laid back personality (not the type to take control of things or take initiative to do things). They're also both very kind & sincere people.

DH is NOTHING like my dad! They are completely different. The only think DH has got going for like my dad is that he is older than me...lol I'm 27 he's gonna be 33 in Dec. XOXOXO Kitty
