Did you not meet your guarantee for your wedding reception?

Did you pay for the rest or invited people for a free part

I just sent my invites it was about 270 people how many really say no they are all close people too. What should I expect? I hope to get some resonses tomorrow.

We met our guarantee but I think they say 20-30% will say no...but of course, you should not rely on this.

We didn't meet our minimum. We invited almost 200 people and we had 112 (minimum was 125), but our wedding was over the 4th of July weekend. My DH invited some people at work at the last minute and I invited a couple of my brother's friends, but still did not make the minimum. We had 12 vendors so they got the extra meals, which was fine with us.

We needed 130 and sent out invites to over 200. We ended up w/ 135.

We were a few people short at the last minute. Since we were going to have for the minimum anyway, we didn't pay for the vendors and that made up the difference. (Although the vendors would have been less money initially, we would have been paying for 5 places that weren't going to get filled)
