Re: Did you preserve your bouquet??

This is a big thorn in my side. My bouquet rotted while drying out because it was overloaded with water from being in the rain on my wedding day.

Shamma's bouquet preservation was beautiful. I had them drying in my basement and they came out OK, I just then put them in this glass case and it is sitting on a bookcase in my bedroom.

Shamma, I just love your Bo-K!!!

I had mine preserved. I was going to use the same place as Shamma, but found a frame I really liked from another place called Heller & Reid, so I went with them instead. Hopefully it will come out as nice as Shamma's. We'll see! It takes about 14 weeks, and I'll post a picture when it's here!

I'm really glad I had it done. I think I would have regretted it if I hadn't. Even though it's a bit pricey!

shamma...that looks cool...is it flat?

I just saw on the BHB a few weeks ago a way to make impressions of your flowers in a display plate...I may buy some of the flowers in my bok and have her do that...

otherwise mine is all dried out...

I had mine preserved by Forever-in-Boom in Mt. Kisco. They were rec. by Fox Hollow and were very nice to deal with.

Thank you all, I really like the finished product, if only I can get my husband to hang it, it is on the living room couch waiting to be hung.

Keepsake Floral

They did mine and they were recommended by my florist

I wish I had thought of doing this before it was too late!! Mark this up as one of my few 'wedding regrets.'

Re: Did you preserve your bouquet??

My mom dried mine and two bridesmaid boquets in her basement. The girl we used for the flowers told her how it is done. Mine came out ok, but the bridesmaid boquet came out pretty good.
