did you send all of your thank yous out at once?

I want to try to get my TYs out ASAP.... I've been sending them as I write them for gifts we got before the wedding, but what about the ones we got at or after the wedding?

I'd like to send them as I finish them (and write the most generous ones first, as well as the older family members who complain if they dont receive one instantly) or send out a few clumps but wasn't sure that's a big 'no-no'

what did you do?

i sent them out in a couple of clumps. Did about 10 notes a night until they were all finished. Then wrote and sent out any stragglers as I finished them.

Make sure you keep a list of which ones you sent out and keep a date as to the day you sent it. I did that and it was incredibly helpful (especially being able to tell my mom 'yes, I sent that one on January 4th!'. LOL

thank you! we've been trying to keep a spreadsheet with date rec'd and date TY sent (DH is the king of the spreadsheet while i've been writing) and it does help

We sent them out all together. I know my brother sent them out in bits and pieces and people in my family were comparing who got them when. Kinda ridiculous I know, but true none the less.

Sent them out all together. I was afraid people would talk to each other and wonder why some people got theirs before others did.

I did them in groups, and sent them out after I was done with each group. Like I'd do my friends one day, his family the next, my work friends the day after, etc.

Sent them all out together except for one card because the gift was sent a few months after the wedding and I sent my Ty's on our one month ann.

I sent mine as I wrote them, if I did 5 or 25 they went out the next day

DH sent his out a week before mine. I sent mine out later because mine werent done.

But i am a big fan of sending them together because relatives talk and they always say 'did you see so-and-sos thank you' and if someone didnt get theirs yet they get upset or offended! Ughh it happened once with shower invitations and people were complaining all over my family that they didnt get theirs yet and what was going on.

I will be sending at once for the same reason

If anything maybe my side of family in one group and his side another group, but otherwise all to be mailed together

If people sent a gift to me before the wedding, I wrote the thank you right away and sent it. But for thank yous from the wedding, I sent them all out at once because I didn't want someone to mention getting a thank you from us and someone else hadn't.
