the band at your wedding or feed them?

I tipped AND fed my DJ and MC. There was no question for me about that. To me it's just human to feed someone.

We fed ours of course, but as is customary in Italy, no tip. My wedding planner told us tipping the band was unnecessary and very uncommon in Italy!
I was pretty happy about that!

Well, the band is over 7,000 and i heard recently that with bands it's either/or - tip or food. i have to look at my contract again to see if there's something in it.

I feed all my vendors.

I wasnt sure i was going to tip them until the day of the wedding but we gave them $50 for each member.

Well, I guess I'll see how I feel the day of the wedding. We'll definitely feed them, and if we are exceptionally happy with them, we'll tip them too. Thanks!

We had a meal for each band member. Since half of our band was replacements and for other reasons, we decided not to tip them.

Fed DJ : yes Tipped DJ: yes, but not the emcee, who was the owner of the company and had also gotten snippy w/ us earlier in the evening when he got there!
