On our wedding night, we went to the Huntington Hilton and just as I was about to walk in the door after John, he says 'Wait there'. He went to put our overnight bag down & he came back out & carried me over the threshold!
I thought this was SOOO romantic. I was still in my wedding dress & all of course & it just really completed my wonderful day!
I didn't even think about this & he did

Yep... totally surprised me, because I had forgotten about it. (I was thinking about opening presents!), but it was a sweet way to end a great night.

We didn't the night after the wedding when we stayed at the hotel. But when we got back home to our house the next day to pack for the honeymoon, he did... Up the fornt steps, into the house, and up the steps inside. He was so tired he nearly dropped me once he got to the top!

Yep! He carried me over the threshold of our wedding night hotel before I could even step foot in. Of course the self closing door made it a little hard, but we got it to work!
He also carried me over the threshold when we got home to our new apartment for the first time as husband and wife. It was really sweet.

Vinny did! I was so surprised - I wasn't even thinking of it. We got back to the room, and all I could think of was getting the million bobby pins out of my hair - next thing I knew, I was in the air!
Then the next thing he knew, he was helping me with the bobby pins! LOL!
Seriously though, it was so romantic. I almost wish the photographer was still there, although I guess that would be kinda creepy, his being in our hotel room and all!
