I took my veil off after DH and I took pictures (during cocktail hour). It was a short-ish veil, about the length of my back. The dress had such a pretty back that it just looked better with the veil off.

i was undecided up to that day. SO i thought 'lets see how long till i get annoyed by it'. After the first couple dances, when i went to greet people they kept tugging my veil when we would hug. So i took it off then. It was better off anyway since i had nice detailing on my back as well.

So for the majority of reception it was off.
and it was between elbow and fingertip length.

I had a cathedral & a blusher. The cathedral came off after the church & church pictures (it got tangled up in the limo) and I intenede to keep on the lusher until the intros into the reception, but it was so windy that the veil was whooshed off my head as soon as we arrived at the HC....

My tiara stayed on all day

Mine stayed on all night. I loved my veil! I also didn't have a very fancy hairdo, so I didn't really care to show my hair.
My veil was shorter in the front and in the back is was down to my waist. It didn't give me any problems at all, other than sometimes my bracelet would catch on it.

I left mine on all night. It was elbow length. There was no way I was taking that baby off, it was the only day in my life that I got to wear it!!

I took it off after the first few dances. Mine was finger tip, and I was hot with it on. I loved my veil, but it also felt great to take it off. And I agree, it gets annoying when you hug and it gets tugged on.

I had it on for our first dance and took it off after that, then put it back on for cake pictures, the dances with my fathers and for the boquet toss.

Well I spent so much money on the veil, and I knew it was the only time I'd be able to wear a veil, and it was so pretty, that I left it on the entire time. It was down to the middle of my back, and didn't annoy me at all. In fact, I even forgot I was wearing it. And everyone comments on the fact that I left it on, too!

I had shorter veil, and I was going to leave mine on, but every time someone hugged me my head would get yanked backwards...so I ended up taking it off. I wish I had few more pictures with it on, but I was happy to be free of it!!

I had a catherdral veil and a two tiered fingertip veil. I took off the cathedral at the reception hall and left the 2 tiered fingertip one on the whole time. Hey when else am I going to get to wear my veil

cathedral veil i took off after the pictures at the church. I left my other veil on though the rest of the night - i loved having it on!

I had every intention of taking it off but honestly I forget it was even there! It never bothered me at all the whole night!

I had a fingertip length veil and I had my hair up so I put it under as opposed to on top of my head and I think thats why it stayed on!!!!
