Dining room help

Okay so we been in the house for 2 1/2 years. We're finally getting to re-do the dining room (we wanted to save the bigger more $$ projects for after the wedding)
2 questions..........
Where can we go to get a nice (inexpensive) dining room set
AND
Is painting the dining room a blue-ish/Gray-ish color okay? I mean like 98% of the dining rooms I have seen in the past are like all neutral colors. This color is absoulty
Its a light color...nothing dark because it would make the room look smaller.
Let me see if i can find a picture of the color.

Thanks!

Re: Dining room help

hey interior designer here the color would be great!! I love when we can do colors in rooms. Don't got to dark it will feel smaller, but anything warm will make the room feel cozy.

As for inexpensive furniture, how about bobs, or macys clearence center, or I've heard great things about JCPenny home store... also Ethan Allen and thomasville, sometimes have great sales on last years stuff, that they want to move out, esp. now. you can even call and just try and ask if they have anything of that sort. Also there's a ton of stores along 110 in Farmingdale.. not sure whats there or how the prices are though. good luck! and FM me if you need any help!

I think a blueish gray would be very pretty! We got most of our furniture at Levitz which is no longer around, but definitely check Raymour & Flanigan, Bob's, and those places. Good luck!
